Diprose Miller have been recognised as the approved accountant to the Matamata-Piako Dairy Push Group.
As rural accountancy specialists, the Diprose Miller team enjoy working with like-minded, rural organisations, which is why we are pleased to be the approved accountancy firm for the Matamata-Piako Dairy Push Group.
The Group collects financial, environmental and employment data from farmers in an aim to improve the productivity and profitability of farms in the area.
Made up of approximately 30 farmers, all of whom are volunteering their time for the project, the Group is targeting improvements in three areas - Profit, Planet, and People - over a three-year period.
Supported by DairyNZ, Intelact, the Waikato Regional Council and Anexa FVC Vet Services, the vision of the Group is: “To help dairy farm participants achieve their aspirations in the areas of financial and people management, and to adopt and embrace environmentally sustainable farming practises in the process. In doing so this will benefit all stakeholders including farming and farming related agribusiness and the Matamata Piako District community”.
Our senior staff are assisting farmer participants with a range of accounting services, including:
- financial literacy
- analysis of accounts
- budgeting
- goal setting
- accounting software training
The initiative started in 2015 and the Diprose Miller team look forward to seeing further progress over the next 18 months.
